Academically, Dr. Fram has authored several journal publications and book chapters and enjoys contributing to the field of Ophthalmology. She is the past chair of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Cataract Committee and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. As an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) where she serves as a member of the Cataract Committee.

SAHAR BEDROOD, MD, PhD
Dr. Sahar Bedrood is a board-certified, fellowship-trained glaucoma and cataract doctor in Los Angeles. She has expertise in complex and advanced techniques in cataract surgery, laser-assisted cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens implantation.
She has trained with world-renowned glaucoma specialists and is an expert in interventional glaucoma, which includes cutting-edge techniques in medical glaucoma treatment as well as minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), traditional and implant glaucoma surgery, as well as laser treatments for glaucoma.
Dr. Bedrood received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and chemistry at University of California Los Angeles and went on to obtain her medical school training with a combined MD/PhD degree at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Doheny Eye Institute/USC + LA County Hospital, then completed her glaucoma fellowship as a Society of Heed Fellow from the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She would go on to be an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the USC Roski Eye Institute, where she continued to volunteer and teach ophthalmic surgical training to resident physicians.
